A Review of our film (So Far)

Our film is coming along very gradually, and I would like to give a brief, spoiler-free review of our film to the extent of it's content so far.  It is not finished yet, and probably won't be until the day it's due, so this review is just covering the very minimal amount of film that we have completed so far.
To start off, my personal view of this Genius Hour has differed from Jacob's and Chase's since the start. Although I came up with the original concept of the film awhile ago, it has never been something that I thought I would be making at this point in time. I figured that if it were something that we ever made, it would be during college or even after college. This is because I believed (And somewhat still do believe) that we do not have the proper equipment, time available, or acting abilities to do so.
Once we had the chance to do film for our Genius Hour, my first thought was to make a series of short films that had nothing to do with each other. I thought it would be enjoyable to do a funny short, a action short, and possibly a fake commercial for some made-up product. I also thought it would be an enormous leap from making our funny seven minute short film, "Chase's Day Off," to making an hour-long drama; so, short films seemed more logical to me. However, Jacob had taken my idea and made a pretty good script out of it, and Chase really wanted to make this film, so I decided we could try it. I am not trying to seem like I hate the idea of this movie, and I'm not trying to seem like this will be an awful film, but I have been skeptical from the start, carrying along my own views of what I originally wanted to do for this Genius Hour.
From what we have gotten done so far, I would not necessarily say that things are going as well as they could. The footage that we have is pretty good, and our assistant actors (Jess, Aiden, Allie, and Quest) did a terrific job, but we don't have a whole lot done. With conflicting work schedules, members being gone for several days, and certain events interrupting our process, we are way behind schedule. Given the amount that we have done, and the amount that we have left to film, we may have to result to filming a short film or two.
In conclusion, our filming process isn't going as well as it could, and we may end up being forced to modify it to fit our schedules and acting abilities.
